Terms & Conditions

Last Modified: January 6, 2020

Once you complete the purchase of your registration, the purchase price is final.

Things happen. We understand. Here’s how cancellation and refunds work:

  • If you cancel by December 31, 2019, you’ll get a full refund of the amount paid.
  • If you cancel from January 1, 2020 through February 29, 2020, you’ll get a 50% refund of the amount paid.
  • After March 1, 2020, we will not provide a refund (regardless of whether or not you attend Summit 2020).

To cancel your registration (and get your refund, if applicable), you will need to notify us in writing at userconference@iOFFICECORP.com.

If you’re entitled to a refund, the amount refunded will be less any fees ($100 USD) and will be refunded to your original payment method or paid by check. These cancellation terms apply regardless of the reason that you cancel (even if you, unfortunately, need to cancel for personal reasons, weather conditions or other stuff that’s out of your control).

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements, if you made them yourself. If applicable, you are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.

You also have the option of transferring your pass to another person if your plans change (or if you just feel like it). Passes can be transferred until they are picked up onsite: once a badge is printed it can only be used by the person whose name is on it.

You can transfer your own registration—or another that you purchased—by emailing us at userconference@iOFFICECORP.com.

Please remember that transferring your registration does not automatically transfer your hotel (if you the reservation yourself) and travel arrangements. If applicable, you are responsible for transferring your own hotel and travel reservations.

Your privacy is important to us. We may share your registration data with our vendors in order to provide event information and help improve your experience at Summit 2020 or future events. For example, if we offer a mobile app, we might make your data available to the mobile app provider so it’s accessible through the app. We may also share your registration data with providers related to Summit 2020, like hotels, registration service providers, sponsors, and housing vendors. By providing your registration data to us, you grant us permission to do these things.

What we will not do is sell, rent, or give your information to third parties (because there’s nothing worse than going to an event then getting spammed by strangers for weeks).

You may have the option of sharing your information (such as name, company, and job title) with other attendees through our mobile app or other online communities. If you believe someone has collected your information without your consent, please inform us immediately.

Unless we notify you otherwise, then you’re permitted to take photos, videos, or audio recordings (collectively, “recordings”) at Summit 2020, as long as you comply with these terms.

These recordings might include content or material that is protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other rights which we own or license. So, other than for your personal use, you are not allowed to copy, reproduce, publish, or distribute the recordings without our written permission.

Attendees are not permitted to take recordings using professional camera equipment, such as DSLR cameras, lights, or tripods. However using a camera phone or a smaller digital camera is fine.

We encourage you to post photos or recordings from our conference on social media as long as video clips aren’t more than three minutes in length.

While tweeting “#Summit2020 = the best time ever!” with a picture of you at the M Resort or posting a 30-second clip of a breakout session on Instagram is fine, live streaming an entire breakout session is not.

Now some important restrictions: you agree that you won’t use any recordings (1) in a way that is misleading or disparaging, (2) in a way that implies that the content of the recordings is your own, (3) for commercial purposes (this means, for example, you can’t sell them) or in a way that implies that we endorse, sponsor or approve of your business, services or products, or (4) in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material. If we request that you discontinue use of any recordings, you will immediately comply with our request. And of course, if we do notify you that recordings aren’t allowed, then you agree that you won’t take any recordings.

Now about recordings we can take: by attending Summit 2020 and related events, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness, presentation and/or other copyrightable material recorded, including video, audio, and still photography. We reserve the right to use recordings taken at Summit 2020 and related events however we might choose to, without giving you notice or any compensation. We might use them, for example, in our press releases, marketing materials, or other publications.

We might make updates to the agenda from time to time, which could include a change in speakers or the cancellation of certain sessions. We can’t promise the attendance of any speaker, entertainer, or presenter and won’t refund your registration or provide any other compensation based on changes to the agenda. We also can’t guarantee admission to any certain session, since all sessions are subject to capacity limits and availability.

Summit 2020 is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. If we are determined to have any liability to you, you agree our aggregate liability will be limited in all cases to one hundred dollars (US $100.)

Please be aware that we may update and change any part or all of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notifying you first. If we update or change these Terms and Conditions, the updated Terms and Conditions will be posted at www.iofficecorp.com/summit-terms-and-conditions (or other website we designate). The updated terms will become effective and binding on the next business day after they are posted. When we change these terms, the "Last Modified" date above will be updated to reflect the date of the most recent version. We encourage you to review these terms periodically. If you don’t agree to these terms, then you shouldn’t register for Summit 2020.

That’s that! Now, let’s have some fun!
